FAQ
Quick answers before you download
When do others see me on the map?
Only when you choose to. Turn on location sharing in Settings and check in on the map when you want to be visible. You are not tracked in the background — visibility is under your control.
What are Live activities?
Short-lived meetups you create or join on the map — coffee, a walk, a concert, and similar. Others nearby can see the activity and connect while it’s active.
What is Era Plus?
An optional subscription (weekly, monthly, or yearly) that unlocks:
- AI Recommendations — personalized places and travel ideas near you
- Advanced Filters — refine who you see on the map
- Profile Views — see who viewed your profile
- Priority Support — faster help from our team
How do I report someone or delete my account?
Use in-app report and block tools on profiles and in chats. To delete your account or ask about your data, go to Settings in the app or email era.app.globe@gmail.com. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Who can use Era?
Era is for adults 18+ only. Sign in with Google or Apple and complete a short profile setup before you can use the map and chat.
